Joining Hands With Spain

If you have read this month’s Feminist Footprints, you know that it takes us to Spain. My September post will also be set in Spain and I wanted to take a moment to express my sadness for the lives, joy, and innocence lost in the latest horrific terrorist attack in Barcelona.

Barcelona is a wonderful, welcoming city, as is the country. It will survive, it will heal, as will its people. We global citizens will also heal but the only way to heal and grow and thrive is to stand together.

We are stronger together.

Sierra Leone is also in our hearts.
